Moderna Spikevav Bivalent COVID-19 Vaccine – now available and being offered as a booster dose to persons 18 years or older.
It is recommended to wait 6 months from the last vaccine and/ or 3 months from a COVID-19 infection. Eligible people will likely receive notification to schedule.
If you do not automatically get a link sent to you you can book an appointment online on the British Columbia government website – immunizations are now being given at many pharmacies.
Bivalent vaccine may also be offered to individuals 12-17 years of age were moderately to severely immunocompromised or at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19 infection
