Urgent Appointments
We offer same day appointments for urgent health concerns. When your primary family doctor is not available, you will be offered an appointment with one of the other doctors or locums at the clinic if your problem cannot wait until your own doctor is available. All information is then available in your chart, and your primary doctor will remain up to date on how you are doing. Going to walk-in clinics breaks the continuity of care and information and may lead to unnecessary tests or interventions.

The doctors at Oakridge Medical Vancouver share the responsibility of covering your after hours questions. We ask that you respect our time with our families and only contact us for urgent problems that can not wait until the next business day. However, we are happy to take your calls regarding urgent medical issues.
